This stunning original antique engagement ring is made in the most beautiful daisy style, set with a central Transitional Cut Diamond in a bezel setting and mill grain beading to the edge. The centre stone is surrounded by twelve Old European Cut Diamonds with a half grain and bezel setting and a lovely scalloped edge, there is also a dainty mill grain border. There is a dainty 1.6mm band which tapers into the setting. The ring also comes with its original antique fitted ring box made from tooled green leather and gold bow details to the lid, which is in wonderful condition. The ring box features the jeweller John Hall & Co to the inner lid, a Diamond Merchant that was based in Manchester and Liverpool.
Made in Platinum. We have added a new half shank to the band as the original was very thin.
The central Transitional Cut Diamond has been calculated in the setting and weighs approximately 0.75 Carat. H Colour and VS Clarity. The outer Old Cut Diamonds weigh approximately 0.045 Carat each, totalling 0.54 Carat. SI1 Clarity and H Colour. The total weight estimated at 1.29 Carat.
The setting measures 12.2mm x 12.3mm.
A wonderful low and smooth setting combined with stunning antique Diamonds in this most sought after daisy style. The Diamonds are bright and white, catching the light beautifully.
